Anyone Staying In Talybont South???

Hey all,
i got my accomodation form thru yesterday and im staying in talybont south. just signed up on here to see who else will be there!!

Meee!!!! I got my accomo form this morning, and I am house 19, 2nd floor flat 2, room 1. Its gonna be so fun, I cant wait to live student life!! :biggrin:

Well I think all the houses are in close proximity so we'll all be close... when are u moving in?...... I would be comming in from norwich on 21st by bus... will be droped at the University... worried abt getting to my house with all that baggage... carl has told me wat to do... but lets see wat happens.. hope nobody snatches my luggage :smile:

It takes less than five mins to walk end to end of Taly South.

Im sure it will be fine! Think im going to move in 21st but prob in the evening. Im going to be bringing loads so ill going to have 2 get a lift! xx

I heard today. I'm in Taly South too! House 24. Wasn't my first choice because it's such a trek into town but the more I check it out, I guess studentsville isn't such a bad place to live. ^_^

Sam, I was gonna ring them today if the pack hadn'ta arrived. I figured it'd been over a week since I sent my reply and with it being a Bank Holiday weekend there is no way I have enough patience to wait until Tuesday.

, if you didnt get a chance to look around talybont south ive found some pics of it on the net:
Talybont Pics and www.studential.com had some but for some reason you cant view them anymore :confused:

Also, got a really really long review of it, just to get an idea of what other people think of it Talybont South Review - pretty helpful 2 read!

How many rooms per flat is house 24? I know it varies.

lets see what happens. I would ask my uncle to drop me off to Cardiff, but I dont knw if he can take the long 7 hour drive, already I am borrowing some crokery and cutlery and may be duvets form him. I should take it 1 favor at a time :biggrin:

That was where i was last year!
Its a great flat, probably the best in talybont, although I might be a little biast. We were known as the flat that didnt sleep, there was uaually one of us awake and in the kitchen no matter what time of day or night it was! Check under the table in the kitchen, we left a little message. :biggrin:

Beware of the cleaner though if its the same one, she liked to hand out fines for not washing up!
