House 22, ground floor, flat 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was where i was last year!
Its a great flat, probably the best in talybont, although I might be a little biast. We were known as the flat that didnt sleep, there was uaually one of us awake and in the kitchen no matter what time of day or night it was! Check under the table in the kitchen, we left a little message. :biggrin:

Beware of the cleaner though if its the same one, she liked to hand out fines for not washing up!

Wicked.... I will attempt to retain its infamousy :cool:

I'm room 5 to be specific, i really cannot wait to go now....... :biggrin:

Talybont Pics and www.studential.com had some but for some reason you cant view them anymore :confused:

Also, got a really really long review of it, just to get an idea of what other people think of it Talybont South Review - pretty helpful 2 read!

hey poptart great links there, very usefull, actually was looking allround but didnt find much info on taly south...the links gave me a good idea of what to expect at taly south...thanks a million..

lets see what happens. I would ask my uncle to drop me off to Cardiff, but I dont knw if he can take the long 7 hour drive, already I am borrowing some crokery and cutlery and may be duvets form him. I should take it 1 favor at a time :biggrin:

Did you see the state of the main seating area in the first link?! Im quite a messy person so I have a feeling my flat is gonna end up looking like that :rolleyes:

hehe my room is in that state already, and gets cleaned only when my mum gives me a KICK...
i dunno what is gonna happen there...maybe the washer lady gives me a KICK.. :biggrin:

I haven't heard yet either Sam!!! Gettin a bit grrrrr now!!!
But i phoned the residences on fri and they sed all acc. offers should be recieved by the end of next week- so i tryin my best to keep calm- although im up everyday at 7.00am waitin at the letter box! lol

hey u guys, when I got the offer, I signed one letter acceptance and sent it with the direct debit form, and kept the extra copy of the letter with me. Are we supposed to recieve any more stuff regarding our accomodation or that was the final acceptance that we sent?

Well done everyone for getting into talybont south! It is definately the best accomodation the uni has, and thats not just my opinon thats what everyone said last year. I dont know anyone who didnt like it! Enjoy it!!

You just send the form back to the southgate house adress which is printed on the envelope and letter head.

I'm ground floor and i'm male, but i'm not sure if it's male only :s-smilie:

- is there any reason for it to be?

And as for the six/eight room question, im in room 5 so i guess that doesnt really help at all. lol
