The sound of a spitting cobra, that's great. It's not a hiss it's much louder than that.

Now, I know I am not alone in this passion of mine, as many of you have admitted to being found on many an occasion in the forest tracking that illusive gemesuckle bird.
Oh, the gemesuckle bird, wow! It's wonderful!

Maybe google isn't wise enough to have the knowledge of a gemesuckle bird. This is rarely used, I am told. It's proper name appears to be the "nikabill". I don't know much about wildlife, I don't really care to be honest but I do know that.

Indeed, the nikabill has reported been sighted once over the south west ridge of South Africa, but we have no confirmation of that. Skeletal remains have been discovered but the nikabill still remains largely a mystery.

So why don't you move to South Africa? I'm sure it would be amazing to see the nikabill. Are the gemesuckle and the nikabill related in any way?

Originally the gemesuckle and nikabill were thought to be different but closely related species. It now appears that the nikabill may have evolved from the gemesuckle. This is still under research though.

No...once I have discovered the nikabill and studied it in it's natural environment, I will have no reason to exist. This is my destiny!
