I talked to Lez Smart today and he said that two things have been sent:
One letter from the registry, about enrolment, etc.
The other one is a letter from L.Smart himself, welcoming all students, etc.
He recommends one book in this letter.
Coming to England by Floella Benjamin.
You can probably get the book everywhere. I just ordered a copy, looking forward to reading it.
Also, seems like we will be meeting on wednesday in the first week for the first time. I assume he meant Oct 5th with that.

I got that letter today. The meeting isn't Oct 5th... It says at 10am on Wednesday 28th September. I need to order the book... Looks interesting.

Sure! Ill have a chance to actually get to know someone... Im absolutely terrified as I don't know anyone...
I don't know anyone either, no need to be terrified. It rarely happens that anyone knows anyone :P
We could meet on the 28th an hour before the meeting?

Ive read the book yesterday. Its interesting! I could understand Benjamin's feelings because I went through the same things while I was growing up. Its really light and desn't go too deep so wasn't intimidating!

Yeah, it arrived in the post on friday and I finished it in no time. Quite a nice read
