Here we go. If you want to see my map that is a zillion times better than Kev's then CLICK HERE!!!!!

Btw, the blue building is Hatfield - when the site shrunk the pic it blurred the writing. :frown:

1. You're all jealous of my map

2. at Becca's map! Lovely....but you put Hatfield kinda wrong, there's a church/museum on that corner :p:

3. I don't think it is a women's prison...infact I'm pretty sure it's just a regular prison...and where you are is actually quite far away from the prison, there are LOTS of houses inbetween Palmers Garth and the prison....and I don't know of anyone that's ever broke out of there

"HMP Durham remains in service to this day and as a maximum security prison houses some our most dangerous criminals."

Well, Hatfield definitely touches the top of the steps, because you have to walk past it up that little street to get on to the Bailey, so ner
And my map is awesome! :hmpf:

I never said you're map wasn't awesome, it's just funny

And I know it touches the steps, but it doesn't touch the corner. It's more of an L-shape :p:

And finally, yes Durham Prison is maximum security, which is good....would you rather have a crappy minimum security one around where people break out all the time? - there are "dangerous" people in there, including one very famous woman but can't remember her name lol, but it is VERY secure

True, I suppose an extremely guarded prison would be better, but if someone DID break out it'd be pretty terrible... :frown:

Don't worry, this isn't America where people break out often. I've heard on the news of one person breaking out of a prison in the UK in my whole entire life

Durham prison is cool anyway - they have massive blue doors, I mean massive!!!...you have to see them to believe them

You may have to wait a while, as they're not that amazing when they're closed. It's when a teeeny little milk van thing comes along, and they have top open these huge doors which king kong could fit through, and they're like trundling along on massive rails making a loud noise, and a little van whizzes in then the MASSIVE door closes behind it.

That, my friend, is something you can't go through life without seeing

Oh, I'm sure it will be fine. I don't know what the Palmer's Garth rooms look like though, so I can't help you in that regard. You'll have to wait for Kathryn or Judith to come online.

And my map was so good. I wanted it to be uploaded. :bawling:

Judith is online now:wink:

Right PG rooms are quite big actually, and i liked the one my friend Emma lived in. Not too sure about Church Street though(which is just over the road and slightly nearer college) Kathryn does, as i'm sure she's been there.

Everyone i knew in PG didn't mind the distance, and said it wasn't far anyhow... and to be honest, it would be handy living in PG if you're coming back from Planet hehehe.

Asides from that, don't believe the stereotypes fully Hatfield is not overtly rah and not everyone does sport!
