Nottingham is a great city maaaaaaaaaan (From what I've heard)

Apparently, theres loads to do besides clubbing, because just like you, I will get bored of it as will most people.

Sports, Theatre etc etc

Hi im from Nottingham and also going to Trent.

Yes Nottingham has a massive reputation for some wikid nights out and yes the nightlife is good, but there are also loads of other things to do, in the daytime and at night! There are loads of nice little cafes/bars if you just want to go for a quiet drink.

Sport: Theres Nottingham Forest and Notts County to watch if your into football. And if u want to watch a bit of fighting, the Panthers is always a great way to spend an evening.

Cinema: Theres 3 cinemas in Nottingham, The Cornerhouse which is a massive modern complex, Broadway which has a great cafe/bar and shows a lot of classics/foreign films - if u want something a bit alternative, as well as the popular ones. Finally there is the Screen Room, which is Englands (Europes??) smallest cinema, and has just one room, id recommend going just for the experience! If your into Theatre, there is the Theatre Royal and the Playhouse, which both do some great shows.

The Caves/Robin Hood - Nottinghams most famous assets! Go around the Robin Hood tour, or go to the Caves which run under most of Nottingham.

The Castle: has a great museum and is a wikid place to go and chill, have a picnic and hang out in the summer sun! The Arboretum is also pretty good for this and thats right next to the Nottm Trent City campus.

Shopping (obv)

In Nottingham theres also random things like they do Ghost trips round the city centre and the old part most Sat nights, there always a good laugh. Theres quite a few museums like Galleries of Justice.

Theres also loads of things to do out of Nottingham, e,g, visit Sherwood Forest, Watersports Centre, Peak district.

Anyway cant think of anything else right now, but dont worry there is loads of stuff to do as an alternative to drinking, you'l be very happy here!
