Essentially, for AQA Double Science, you needed 526/700 to get A*A*...

I got 525/700 (AA). LoL.

What are the chances of me getting up to 526, when it is remarked?

Many thanks in advance,

Barabbas.

Depends what you were expecting and how disappointed you'd be if it didn't go up - its unlikey to go down if it was remarked as your so close to the boundary so it may well be worth it. Oh and well done btw, thats a brilliant result!

I was disappointed after the exam but I knew it'd be a bit touch and go.

Then i'd advise you to talk to your school about it as I think they may be able to get a photocopy of your paper so they can see all your answers before you ask for a remark or not - good luck with it!

I don't think you can with GCSE papers.

My school has already said I should get it remarked which has been arranged.

I was just wondering if I was likely to get the double A*?

It can certainly happen, one of my friends got an extra mark in maths, which has even more 'rigid' marking. There are more long questions in science to pick up marks in.
