I go to a private grammar school where I got 9A*s, an A and a B. Lots of people at the school got the same or better, but there were also quite a lot of people who didn't do too well at all.

You would think that 9A*'s would mean I was able to read, wouldn't you. But no! I didn't think and voted. So, yes. A girl has dirtied your pretty poll

I voted state, because I went to a comprehensive...

It is known that Private schools do better in terms of GCSE and A-level results anyway.

Maybe the OP has taken into account the fact that girls generally do better than boys at GCSE? Or maybe, being a male, he just wants to compare his situation and achievement to other males (as it might be more relevant for him).

    This POLL IS BIASED!!!!

Surely there are more state school educated pupils on the student room than Privately educated pupils. So what are you trying to prove?

Why does it matter. I assume you want to analyse whether those from private schools did better than those from state, well, yes they probably did. The only difference being is you get chav type people that get kicked into a school and dont really want to be there, wheras in private schools, parents want the best for their kids, and promote good grades and school work. IMO anyway that's the case.
