I did my GCSEs back in 2003, but these stats seem slightly odd.

I got 8 As and 1 B.

"Finally, nationally, 1 in every 16 students, possesses your level of ability or above."

I don't mean to boast or anything, but that sounds a bit high?

Also, what on Earth is the Oxbridge Admissions score all about?

Edit - Ok, how do they get that nationally... thing? I did a test, putting in 4 Cs, 3 Ds and 2 Es. Apparantly:

"This means that you are in the top 71.5% of the country."

But:

"...nationally, 1 in every 1 students, possesses your level of ability or above."

What is that supposed to mean?

Reply 68

its not that high. that meens like you were in the top 2 of a normal size class!

Reply 69

I got 78 (out of 88)...but I DID take an extra GCSE! I took 11 in the time allowed for 10, so I'm quite please with that

Reply 70

a person who took 1 GCSE and got an A* is more gifted than someone who got 19A*s and an A according to the site

That's good! Welldone

Don't forget, most of TSR get really top grades so yours might not feel so good (I know that's what it feels like for me anyway), but you still did well above average (5Cs!)!
