    Hey
I just want to ask if anyone knows what the NSW HSC equivalent is to the UK's GSCEs? ie the grading system? Like if an 'A' is equivalent to say a Band 6 (which the HSC top band)?
And how would one apply for a UK uni, eg Oxford/Cambridge etc if you're from Australia?

Not sure about the equivalent grades, but if you want to apply to universities here, you make your application through UCAS. Read http://ucas.com/studyuk/index.html, there's info about the application process and other stuff there.
