ew, just no. I wouldn't chance it tbh, food poisoning can last for weeks in some cases.

At minimum i'd imagine you'd be sat on the toilet for the rest of the day thinking why did i even bother...

High?

I'n any case, I don't think it would taste terribly good

//edit:

Q. What does raw meat taste like?

A. Unfortunately it's a bit hard to describe. Raw beef is light and almost delicate in flavour. It doesn't taste the same as cooked beef.

Raw chicken? not a good thing to try. Good way to die because of bacteria etc.

Not very high, but there is still a chance! If you do get sick, the chance of it being serious isn't high, especially if you only eat a small piece.

Our stomachs are able to cope with most things, its just that we are more used to eating cooked food with little bacteria in it.

100% chance. Thats the most stupid thing ive read in ages

Reply 6

You probably wouldn't get ill, but the risk is definitely there and not to be taken lightly. Trust me, I've had food poisoning, you don't want it.

A quick Google suggests that salmonella (which could get you a week of vomiting/diarrhea/cramps/fever) is found in 25-62% of raw chicken, so I guess the question is, are you feeling lucky? :p:

Reply 8

didn't some guy working at asda lick a raw chicken?

Reply 9

You're either completly moronic, or have no idea what it is like to have salmonella poisoning. Still, if you decide to go ahead, keep us updated.

75% of chicken in the UK is contaminated with Campyllobacter (higher than EU average). Around 4% have salmonella.

Cause of death: eating raw chicken.

Really?

Mmmm Salmonella.

Reply 13

I ate a whole skewer of raw chicken before once LOL
i didnt know it was raw as it was seasoned and all that and was in a pack that made it look like it was already cooked

None the less I wasnt ill at all, but i still wouldnt risk it

Reply 14

I bet it doesn't taste as good as it looks.

Reply 15

:lolwut:

I feel sick just at the thought

Reply 16

Mmm... i will look in to it. I just have always had this urge to bite and rip in to it.
Its texture when cutting it makes me wonder what it tastes like and feels like between my teeth.

I will weigh up my chances but thankyou for your replies

What are you talking about!?

This is raw chicken - of course it'll do something, even if it's just a day on the toilet or an upset stomach!

Not to mention the risk of salmonella and other food poisoning inherent in raw poultry, even a small amount can be enough.

You don't get sick from dining on a woman, so why should you get ill from eating that?

Same thing.

If you kill the chicken yourself and eat it as soon as it dies, I would take a guess that the risk is low.
