look smarter than wearing trainers and they are warm, you can tread in slushy snow with them, trainers would get soaked... just good for winter :smile:

I would never attempt to tuck boots into my jeans... that would be weird... now tucking my jeans inside my boots however... :wink:

nah, I don't do it, but i don't think it looks crap, but then again no one did it here, so maybe if loads of people do it really badly I'd understand your aversion for it.

yeah well, I live in some provincial backwater where people think denim + other shade of denim is the hight of fashion (which I've been told on this board is not the case apparently :wink:

Hilarious. I say dress for no one but yourself, esspecially not what boysies think. (Maybe with the exception of red_roadkill).

I can't believe you generlised like that. Any guy? I know loads of boys that love boots, and I know loads that don't like them. Not everyone has the same opinions. Why the huge hate for them? You seem to suggest that it's because everyone's doing it, so do you hate all trends?

plus many girls seem to dress more to look good in front of their female friends than their guy friends. not everyone, but quite a few I'd say.
