So, a pharmacologist can earn more than a pharmacist? well, pharmacology is study of drugs, and pharmacy is design of drugs, don't you think pharmacists are a little bit more important than pharmacologist? that's what i think, may be i'm wrong.

Oh, sorry for posting again, but those salaries are per year really?
Greetings again...
The starting salary for a pharmacist isn't 11k, you get more than that on your pre-reg year!!
Boots starting salary for a newly qualified pharmacist is 30k+

the head of pharmacy at Bath uni said average for pharmacy is £30,000 and for pharmacology £28,000. Pharmacists give out drugs and check prescriptions/make them. Pharmacologists design and study drugs.
Pharmacists can design and study drugs too. They can also do lots of other pharmacy related things other than giving out drugs and checking prescriptions
I would think the average Pharmacist earns more. You also need to take into account employment prospects; Pharmacy virtually has zero unemployment, whereas Pharmacology has a question mark hanging over it. Most research positions will be temporary contracts (do you want to be looking for a job every couple of years?), average salaries are more like £18k from what I can gather and thats after a few years experience-- i know a couple of people who graduated and work in drugs research, and they're on £15k-ish and will probably earn a little more than that once their contracts end. You'll need to get a PhD before you can get the good positions and earn more.

Mmm, i've read in many web pages that pharmacists design drugs and pharmacologists try them or work with them.
I'm confused

So would anyone tell me for industrial pharmacist, are they the designer and manufacturer of drugs, as I have read that pharmocology includes mostly the study and mechanism of drugs only?
