Hatfield Freshers

Ok, I got my information pack which contained the usual accomodation and money stuff and a copy of the Rough Guide to Hatfield college.

Do we get any more information sent to us, like a freshers week timetable? And do we get anything from our department (I'm doing Geology) about book lists and modules?

Sorry if this has been asked before but there are so many question threads I don't have time to trawl through them all at the moment.

Well I got my pack day after results, but my course info (as in handbook which actually didnt give a full list of the optional modules avaliable :rolleyes:

) earlier this week. Your course stuff should come in few days I would say.

I didn't get a Rough Guide in my pack :frown:

I'm going to ring lynne berry after the weekend to get one sent! I didn't have a freshers timetable either, and I haven't heard anyone from hatfield mention a timetable on here, but I'll ask about that too when I ring. Maybe there isn't one! And 10 photos to send back! Seems a bit excessive!

ouch. I took a photo put it on the computer, resized it so that 5 fitted on a 6x4 photo and got a couple of copies printed in boots. total cost = 98p (+50p for the cd)

So to confirm. Do any Hatfield freshers have a timetable/info on ents etc etc?

Some people i knew didn't get all the bits of their Freshers Pack before they arrived in Durham.... also i can't remember whether you get a timetable of events for freshers week or an ents calendar, sorry :frown:

Also, ten photos may be excessive but you do need it.

I don't seem to remember getting a timetable through before freshers week but think i got one when i arrived. It was a long time ago (!) for me so the memory doesnt serve that well.
However, I will be there when you arrive so pop up to the top floor of gatehouse and say hi if you like- room 18 i think!
Don't worry to much about details- the college is notorious for holding back info until the last minute. All will be revealed when u arrive!

yeah, when i arrived last year i'd been panicking but the fresher's week timetable was on my bed along with some other info, like lekha says, hatfield likes to keep you in suspense!
