My mate dumped her bf for stupid reasons
She dumped her bf after 2 days because he was boring and he wore fake brand clothing 
I was well shocked when she told me, because she seemed happy with him, but it really makes me angry that she said that, oh I hate people like that 
who depend on appearance, and he was that type of guy I'd hold on forever he was almost perfect. Before him she was with this other guy from her uni and was only with him for a week and a half, and I remember after 3 days she was like, I'm in love with him.

omg how pathetic is that? its the type of thing expected of 12yr olds. or at least reminds me of "relationships" in year8 when u went out with someone for a week. not that i ever did that

You dont have to know the guy fully to be in love with him, I love someone but i hardly know them, but I know its love, cos its been there for years and grew stronger over the years.
I also dont beleve in love at first sight, so I agree with you there, it is stupid, but you will always get some who use the word love to everything and link likeness to love, and some people who on the other hand only use it when its real, I guess everyones different.
sorry didn't mean to cause offence, not accusing you but you know what people are like for posting bogus stories on here!random conv, she seems kinda hyper which is a good thing, maybe the clothes thing is an excuse and there is a deeper reason behind it she doesn't want to share.Or maybe she is looking for "Mr.Perfect "and won't settle for less. I would never "dump" someone for that but maybe that is important to her and she thought they would argue about that all the time, as in she thinks hes cheap/scruffy doesn't respect him for that, he thinks shes too snobby etc etc. There will probably be someone more suited to each of them they can be happy with, you mentioned you thought the guy was almost perfect, any reason you can't give it a shot with him?
