Not sure if this is the right place to post it but it's the place I presumed the best Latin scholars would be...

Wondered if anyone could translate the following motto for me : "Arte Meremus".

Tried online translators but I can't find a decent Latin one.
    Thanks.

'We are rewarded with skill' maybe? (I am most likely wrong.) :p:

I thought meremus met earn or merit?

    "We earn skills/art?"

    I'm probably wrong

mereo(r) means that too (according to the dictionary anyway!)

    We gain from skill.

That could be one way of translating it and makes more sense really.

meremus is 1st person plural present active indicative of merere and could translate as deserve, earn, merit, obtain, gain
arte is ablative singular of ars and could translate as by/with/from skill/art

    So take your pick
