Atm I am just pouring milk in a pint glass and stirring with a spoon. I notice that a bits don't dissolve properly...is that important? If it is I will buy the shaker bottle but rather wouldn't spend a couple of quid on something and pay more than that for delivery..

A whisk works fine. But blenders are cheap, may as well get one.

Get a blender bottle (with a wire whisk ball). They're the best. Just order another batch of whey and lump a bottle on top to justify the delivery charge (or indeed, go and find one in the shops).
