I'm an indecisive person and keep getting different advice from different teachers. My AS subjects are Spanish, Maths, Biology and sociology, bit of a random mix. At uni i want to do spanish. When i started A levels i always planned to drop maths at A2, but i've really enjoyed it after getting a B in C1 and A in my C2 mocks im starting to re-think. Sociology is really boring because the teacher is awful but i'm getting good grades in it. But will universities think its better to have a B in maths or an a in sociology (if thats what I get) I'm expected AA in spanish and Biology, what do people think? stick with maths or sociolgy? (i don't think i can handle doing all 4)
Maths is much more impressive than Sociology. Do which ever you're enjoying more, because that's the one you'll get a higher grade in.
Maths is probably better because it's more fitting with having another science (if you ever did change your mind) and is obviously a very tradition/pure a-level.
Do you have any idea where you want to possibly study? If so, worth having a look at the university sites and see what they say in terms of requirements (subject) and again grade offers.
I'd definately keep the maths.. it's much more highly respected as a subject by any university.
Do the one you enjoy the most - both get harder at A2!
