If you hear a girl talking in the political know would it
    a)turn you on
    b)turn you off
    or
    c)not have an impact?
Just wondering because in the "right wing women are hot" thread, some guys were saying it is a turn off when women are into politics!!

    a. as it means she has an interest and is not another boring girl with no interests or hobbies.

It wouldn't turn me on but it'd make them interesting. Its good to have an opinion, people that don't are generally really boring.

Why would it be a turn off?

Neither here nor there, but it's DEFINITELY a good thing if she's in the know about Politics. If she were a right winger (Con/UKIP/EngDem) then I prpobably wouldn't be too impressed, but I'd respect any knowledge or intelligence she had regardless. It makes a change from Hollyoaks anyway.

If she was supporting any party but Tory, yes it would be a turn off.

Because women should stay in the kitchen and not have their own opinion?

Depends if she's tory scum or not  (I kid, I kid)

But seriously, A. Having an interest and being able to discuss politics would be a definite plus for me.

As long as she's not a Labour or BNP/other radical party supporter, it's all good.

I'm a girl, but I don't see any reason why someone with a political interest would have to dumb themselves down just to attract their partner. It's your business, not theirs.

a, unless extremely left-wing - as in hard-core socialism, totalitarianism, crap like that. There's surprisingly lots of them in this ex-communist country. EDIT: (not the UK)

Only if she can justify her political opinions. Independent thought is sexy - societal conditioning/media brainwashing not so much.

I am female but can say from experience most men (in the at least in the US) find it refreshing and politics is a topic that my bf and past bf's always discuss. I would hope men would be secure enough not to use that against a girl.

I'm not in the UK, but in an actual ex-communist country that just recently joined the EU.
