You have a table.

In the columns are field names, like "Name" or "Telephone number".

Each row will find an "or." If you want to find using "and" place the criteria on the same row.

So, to find all records with name "smith" and telephone number 123 or name "giles" and any phone number you would query:

name phoneno.
smith 123
giles

The exam is ridiculously easy, they'll just give you a table of records, and a QBE and ask you to say which records would be returned etc. Or fill in a QBE to choose certain records.

Yes, you use your common sense.

E.g.

A table has 5 fields as following

Name (size /kb)
_______________
Title 20
Author 20
hardback 1
pages 1
rating 2

Calculate the size of a file containing 300 of these records.
You would add up the sizes, to 44, then multiply by 300. And that would be your answer.

I'd concentrate on trace tables, even though they are simple, the slightest ****-up and can send you down the wrong end.

Last year, but got ABC in the A-levels. So I am resitting Maths and Business. The classes I have at the moment are:
