Is any once else finding the accomodation pack like the krypton factor? I'm looking at half the bits that need filling in and going "huh?"

As for the gym membership form; "Student Card Number"? "Term Time Address"? I don't know these things yet.

Well thats what i think. Its mainly the people your with that makes a night out good. Also i have heard many good things about Coventry as a whole...and many people do think that the nightlife is good there. Then again though, i guess theres good points and bad points about every town. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...fingers crossed though!

Where are you staying?
Hey!

My friend is going to Coventry and she says they're not having a Freshers' Ball! Is this true, or is she just being unobservant with all the info she's been sent?

DG

PS I'm going to Warwick, so I'll be just down the road - please don't throw fruit at me! :p:

Hey guys!

Well im a new student starting at Coventry this year as well  I was at Warwick last year but i found Comptuer Science to be the most dull subject ever; so i dropped out and am going to Cov instead to go Games Technology.

Rather than living in halls again, im living with my mates from Warwick in earlsdon but im kinda worried it will be harder to integrate not living in halls :frown:

Hey laura! Well i (will be) living on kensington road which is just off Earlsdon av. I think its a good place because there is loads of studenty housing around there, and we are right near to Weatherspoons  Earlsdon is a little trek from the city centre and main campus but its right on the bus routes and they are pretty frequent. Im moving up on wednesday because the contract started the 1st of september and we want to get settled in before the chaos ensues.

(ps. does anybody else think we should campagn for a cov section of the bored? Even if its only 1 thread long!)

I think I might know someone who can lobby for us on the Coventry section front... ...I will look into it.

As for nerves, I'm not nervous about the moving out etc... However going back into education is going to be a shock to the system. Pretty sure I've got the finances sorted, so that's a plus

Shall be sorted and moved into Singer Hall by early saturday afternoon I hope
