i never actually attended any open days but applied to cov just coz i saw it pretty much everyday on my way to school. but whats interesting about it? besides free USB memory sticks.

hey ..i should be joining you guys in september to do economics ...aint got a clue what coventry is like as ive never been...n i cant even apply for my accomodation cause i dont know what my student id is due to my information not being uploaded on there system ....any advice on accomodation ?

thank CJ...the university has no more accommodation available ..however ive managed to get accomodation at paradise house which is a private accommodation owed by unite...do u know much about it?

I thought Paradise House was post-grad? Meh, anyway, it's probably like the other Unite housing like Callice Court. Unfortunately I don't know too much about either, but I bet CJ can dig up something :tongue:

EDIT: Can anyone tell me how the nightlife like in Coventry Uni. I don't hear it great. Also would i be at a disadvantage if i was accomodated to a university house?

Also is there many who from London/Surrey gone or going to study at Coventry University?

I live in Coventry, and 2bh, nightlife isn't great!
There are cheap places like the 'Kasbah' which do many student nights with drinks for 50p but it is a bit skank lol
there are enough places to choose from, but if you have the money, birmingham is the best place 2 go out, or Leamington!

Depends. If you are a pub person rather than a club person it's great. And if you play pool (and/or poker), get over to Far Gosford Street where I am to be found pretty much every night :wink:

Also, I have a room to let in Earlsdon for £70 (all bills inclusive, nice family size house) ASAP so if anyone IS having trouble with finding accommodation, just give me a bell and I'll sort you out with more info.
