Yeah open days are always a good idea. I need to start gathering info on what course I want to move onto next year, so attending one or two might not be such a daft idea myself.

I don't know if there is a deadline per se mate, just the later you leave it, the less chance you have of getting a room.

I know I left my application until quite late, and I still managed to get a room in Singer.

I've got offers for both Media Production and Journalism and Media. Can anyone tell me what these courses are like, in particular Media Production.

My worry is that with it being 200-220 UCAS points it is perhaps a bit of a kopout subject and so without sounding snobby, the students may not be of the cleverest of the bunch who go to Uni...

I've seen the facalities for myself in Media and it all seems impressive. I won't be living in Coventry though since I only live in Solihull so will perhaps drive for a year before getting accomodation in my second year.

But yeah any extra info which they don't tell you about Media would be appreciate :smile:

Thanks Groovy_Chick. I'm going to need it! I can get the targets if I work really really hard.
I've just submitted one piece of A-level coursework and about to submit another. It's all swinging on those really now, after the results of my January exams were either on target or just short.

If I don't manage it, I'm going to try my hand at Accounting & Finance instead.
