Hey

It's question 5 off the june 05 paper..

y=xe^(2x)

Question says to integrate.

So far i have

u= e^(2x) du/dx = 2e^(2x)
V = x^2/2 dv/dv = x

So

(x^2/2)(e^(2x)) - intergral of (x^2/2) x ((2e^(2x))^2
then i'm stuck

try switching u and dv/dx around.

 uv - \int v\frac{dy}{dx}

u=x, \frac{dv}{dx} = e^{2x}

\frac{du}{dx} = 1 , v= \frac{1}{2}e^{2x}

\frac{1}{2}xe^{2x} - \frac{1}{4}e^{2x} + C
