I think that'll be ok. Nynyflower was 17 when she first started going to meets.
Excellent
What do you actually do on these meets? Where are they hosted as well?

They've all been in Central London, usually revolving around a pub and sometimes a restaurant too. Pretty much we just talk about general things and politics too. It's quite fun and worth going to IMO.

Izaak, clearly everyone loves you! :yep:

If I don't drink, am I allowed to sit in a pub? If yes, then next time I'm there

Yeah, I don't see why it'd be a problem in the afternoon.

Given that it'll be in the summer, I'd favour doing a picnic in a park rather than a pub. One of my favourite TSR meets was a sub meet in Regents Park, where we got some drinks and food from the local Tesco and Pret, played frisbee and rugby, drank ate and chatted. Plus there was Dann's huge Italian cake and my cocktails.

Heh, I've heard a lot about these cocktails!

I wouldn't mind going to the Carnival for the meet, but it would never work!

I'm always disappointed with the Carnival. I think something in a park works better if we have underage people though, as some pubs will have issues and it doesn't leave people out of the drinking if they want to.

Yeah, I vote park. My favourite meet was a sub meet with Kieren, myself, Michael, Dipak and others just chillaxing in hyde park with munchies provided by the local tesco.

Hell, why don't we do that? We can even hold a debate in the speaker's corner :p:

I came to this after i finished work, and you'd left. Everyone said that i should've came earlier cause your cocktails were ace, wanted to try some since :yy:

And yeah, some of the best meets have been just lazing about in the park.

Went ahead and actually voted. If I can make it, I will. Likely by train, though if it's somewhere outside of London I might drive down and then continue on my travels elsewhere.
