Hey, i'm currently doing a first year project about maths and how it is involved in music etc and thought it would be interesting to see if there were any major differences between those that study maths subjects (economics, accounting, straight maths etc) and those that don't.

So if you could it would be great if you could just answer the poll on how many songs you have on your ipod/mp3 players if you don't do a maths subject.

    Thanks

I know this doesn't help since I'm not actually a Maths student, but two of my friends who are doing Maths and Engineering are both large Music lovers. I'll try and get them on here to answer this...

EDIT: Ooops, just re-read and you said non-Maths students... personally, I don't think there will be a massive difference.

Why don't you make the poll Maths students with each set of values and Non-maths students with each set of values so you can compare? So:

    Maths Less than 200
    Maths 200 - 500
    Maths 501 - 1000
    Maths 1001 - 2000
    Maths 2001 - 3000
    Maths 3001 - 4999
    Maths More Than 5000
    Non-maths Less than 200
    Non-maths 200 - 500
    Non-maths 501 - 1000
    Non-maths 1001 - 2000
    Non-maths 2001 - 3000
    Non-maths 3001 - 4999
    Non-maths More Than 5000

As for me, non-maths 2001-3000, but then I study music!
