Hi,

I am looking for good books on land law, EU Law and Criminal law. I want to read up on these subjects before studying them in September.

I like your recommendations of which books are good for these subjects.

Thanks

I used EU Law by Alina Kaczorowska, it's a pretty big book but I understood it just fine. I also bought Steiner and other books to complement it.

For Land law I used one by Judith-Anne MacKenzie and Mary Phillips. I found it pretty good.

I can't remember which one I used for Criminal, but hda a blueish cover

I'd recommend going to the uni bookshop and having a flick through and see which one suits you, although sometimes they are all really dull with long reams of text and no subsections.

No problem. I'd also recommend buying the Law Express books for Criminal and Land, they are really good and gives you basic knowledge from which you can build on with the bigger textbooks. I wouldn't bother buying the EU Law Express book, it's absolutely rubbish and doesn't contain a lot of key facts you need, it skims A LOT.
