i have no idea!! they're being pretty rubbish about sending information on time...

They certainly are. A good example being my tuition fees invoice which they said was payable by the 28th August, and yet the post stamp on the letter read 30.8.05. Not too professional... ^o)

Youre more than welcome to come to the medic ones. In my first year, my whole floor came with us medics for freshers and had what they say the best time theyve ever had - 10x better than what QM had to offer at Drapers. We'll be the guys in the white t-shirts outside halls at 5pm taking freshers to the Griff-Inn which is our Union.

Boy are you gonna be surprised at the rivallry we have with the QM **** who incidently know us as medic scum.

Rivallry started with our merger with QM in 1995, thank you very much john major! We're the oldest med school in the country so to merge with what was a polytechnic back in the day disgusted many old boys and so being big headed as we are, we've kept it going even if we know we're :biggrin:

But is it really? It might not have the most distingusied record, but it's been part of the UoL since 1915. Hardly a '1992 university'...

in terms of distinguished rep record...it will always be behind UCL LSE IMPERIAL and KINGS in London and infront of pleaces like City, Brunel, Kingston, Goldsmiths etc...

its gots something on the home page of their website claiming its 100th best uni in the world for something which seems pretty good...

Not yet!.... I phoned them up a few days ago, and they said that it had "obviously gotten lost in the post somewhere", they were glad to send me another one... which im desperately waiting for. However T!na's thread was good.. atleast i have a good idea about the things that might be happening.

Sorry didnt want to upset anyone, i agree that its reputation is getting better and isnt a half bad college and does indeed have a good law and english programme.

But in terms of ranking which incidently mean sod all considering they use outdated scores, their ranking is 100 in the world is so due to their association with a decent medical school and arguably the best dental school in the country.
