Personally i found it fairly easy if i dont get an A*or an A i would literally shoot myself

I thought it was quite easy but some of the questions were quite random (the carbon compounds in plants).

apparently there was a table for the number of chromosomes and I missed it and when it asked for the number of chromosomes in the gaemates I put half the number of the original cell would I get any credit?

haha i wrote this too thought it meant for humans. it was only 1 mark though so i don't think we'll get any credit.

Unit 2 was okay, carbon compounds was the only main thing I had problems with. I guessed it.

And for the proportion one, I didn't know what to write, so I wrote 4/40 and 10% , hopefully one of those is right :lol:

arrrh and what carbon compounds did you put I put inslouble starch and glucose but apparently they are the same thing so I will only get one and also what did you put for measuring the rate of photosynthesis ?

A girl in my class told me she put Glucose and starch as well, so you probably got atleast one mark there . I just guessed some random **** like Carbon Nitride.

I wrote, look at bubbles formed, or temperature change.

Well he's wrong ? as how can you measure oxygen produced if they're asking how to measure the rate haha, meant to give a reason. I think the time could be right.

Anyone do Unit 3 aswell ?

Definitely :yep:

I got 16 wrong for my Physics in January , and managed an A* which is bang on 90 UMS

In jan 10 it was 34 for A*
In june 2009 it was 35 for an A*

the only challenging part really was the arrow questions about respiration etc, and that was because it was so poorly formatted.
