    HI all..

this is Manu from India, and i am planning to do my MSc in automotive engineering at uk, and one of the best universities. i so badly want to do this course at the earliest, and just cant wait to get started.. the sooner the better.

I finished my graduation in 2007, and currently employed in an Indian MNC, into automotive engine design.Having 3+ years of experience in Engine design involves design of heavy duty diesel truck engines.

Now let me come to my point of concern.. being in India, my information on the various univ is limited to the information i get on the net, univ web site, and from agencies, and local offices in India. I dint get to interact with anyone who has done this course in UK.. my choise is uk 'cos of the course content mainly..

Based on the topics taught, and information i have got, i am applying for the following universities..

    Loughbrough
    Leeds
    Bath
    Hertfordshire
    UCE, Bermingham

So guys can u pls comment on my selections, and how good are these universities, and their courses in the actual case..
any one in these universities doin this course pls tell me their frank opinion, and the about the value addition i would get by doin this course..

let me put it stright.. are these univ well accepted and reputed, and good enough.
wat are the job prospects(employability) and future scope after doin my msc from any of these universities with considering my 3+ years of engine design experience..

and finally which would b the best chioice..

do add in if u know of a better choise

pls help me out.. i dont hav much time in hand..
    pls dont ignore tis...

Manu, try Sheffield and Nottingham also. Sheffield offers Msc. Automotive Engineering and Nottingham offers MSc. Mechanical Engineering (you can choose a specialist stream - Aeronautical, Automotive, Materials, Bioengineering and Manufacturing.

I currently hold offers from Loughborough, Nottingham and Newcastle. Have trouble deciding between Loughborough and Nottingham. Anyways, good luck with your admissions.
