Somewhere for us all to whine about how everyone else is finished when we're not :P

Or, alternatively, to talk about how we've had to wait the longest to finish so therefore the joy will be greater when we actually do finish :yep: Or something.

So how's everyone revising for French?

I take French B because my school doesn't offer A2 and since I'm bilingual, I'm not revising at all

I'm doing ab initio and i'm just cramming tons of vocabularly, writing sentences spontaneously especially in passé composé, l'imparfait, futur simple et subjonctif so that i can get points for using varied tenses. I'm also going over the french-specific syllabus and memorizing the words (and using them in sentences) that I don't quite understand or haven't used. Also, I'm preparing good formats for all the p2 essay styles.

I'm worried most about vocab, though.

There's a nice little french vocab generator and it's for a worthy cause here

Que veux-tu dire? Sorry

I'll have to endure being the last next year, so I guess I can't talk.

The format gives you marks & it ups the word count! There's a list of things we need to know in the french-specific syllabus; if you don't have it, ask your teacher/coordinator.

Thank you for that!
I'm doing the same really.. I find it's harder to motivate myself for French than for the other exams because with the other exams I had a clear picture in my head of what I was going to do.. making flashcards, writing notes, highlighting study guides, making posters... but with French, I made all my flashcards a while ago so I'm just sitting there with them XD I'll get some paper 2s today though and plan answers for them.

Français ab initio; Écrivez,

- un affiche
- un article de journal
- une carte postale
- un courriel (courrier électronique)
- un discours
- une interview
- une lettre
- un message/un mot
- une page de journal intime
- un publicité
- un rapport
- un télecopie

Note your tone (e.g. conversational in diary, impersonal in article) and the formality of your language, e.g. informal in diary, formal in article. You get marks for this. I'm afraid I don't have the French B specific syllabus, but hope this helps!
