which sunblock/sunscreen?

Hi, i need a good sunblock or sunscreen that will block absolutely everything, for quite dark skin and basicallly which is the best.. in terms of brand and spf?

If u want absoloubtly everything then the best 1 to go for will probably be the Garnier Ambre Solaire 1 which comes in a brown bottle and that blocks everything and is a brand that a lot of people trust :biggrin:

thanks, i checked that 1 out, but cant seem to distuingish whether its a sun tan lotion or a sunscreen.. i want something that will stop me from tanning. but thanks i'll check it out at boots or something.

E45 Factor 50 sunblock. a bit pricey, something like £13 last year in Boots. But it's the best stuff.

Hey dude (or dudette :p:

), I'm not sure what brands they have over in the UK, I tend to use the Aussie ones (they're good! :smile:

) we get over here, but whatever it is, always best to make sure your sunscreen has the following:

- SPF 30+
- is non-oily (esp. if you're prone to zits! :eek:

) OR with Vitamin if normal/dry skin.
- is broad spectrum, so guards against UVA and UVB rays.

Then I think you should be fine after that, and if you're a girl go for one with vitamin E for the skin :wink:

O/w if a guy, then usually non-oily is the way to go :cool:

i swear by this one called ultra sun, i buy it on the plane, quite expensive..bout 15 pounds, but u put it on and it lasts all day. i think it comes in factor 20.
