Does anyone realise the irony of what he just said combined with the fact he mispelt (pun) "learns" as "learnes"

To further the irony, it was originally spelt as 'learnes' just like it used to be 'streames'. The plural of many words was pronounced with the "ez-uz" or "ed" sound. Henced you can have -stream streamed streames-, even though the conventionally accepted spelling would be 'streams'. Just a little thought for you. Look before you leap, that was an undue criticism on foolfarian's part. I do hope this helps people. If anyone should doubt me, merely say so and I'll be more than happy to type in a few quotations to prove the point from S. T. Coleridge's "Poetical Works" as published by one of his relations, son I think.
