# Help: Kinetic Energy Question!!! watch

Announcements
1. The speed of the car was 30 m/s when its kinetic energy was 360000 J.

Calculate its Mass [Higher]

Can some one help answer that question?

Thanks...
2. Kinetic Energy = ½mv²
So, 360000 = ½ x mass x 30²
360000 = ½ x mass x 900
360000 = 450 x mass
360000/450 = mass = 800kg

Hope that helped
