    Long at first, just cause everyone else at primary seemed to. Then through secondary it got shorter. Then year 10 and 11 or secondary I had a senior school tie, and you had to have it at a certain length so the badge would show. Our school was stupidly picky about uniform. And I was a prefect, so you know.

    I'll add my 2penth in, we always wore our's with the thin bit only seen (though in Year 7 we was told not to, but hey we just wanted to copy the Year 11s)!! It really must have been a CM or 2 long at best most of the time!!
