Crying within a confrontation

OK,
Whenever I get into even minimal trouble for eg. why did I put that there etc, I feel tears well up at that moment or afterwards. A recent event was on the phone and I was defending myself for something I knew I did right and was trying to tell him what the situation is but he wouldnt let me talk for most of it and he ended up hanging up and not even listening to what I was going to say (thankfully not a friend  )

I mean I don't want to cry whatsoever as it makes me look weak when I actually am very confident when I'm in a confrontation; just being in a situation when tears well up stops my confidence. I've tried not to but it just comes up on its own and I have no control over it at all.

How would I also go about improving my confrontational skills? (please dont say to go into confrontations :p: )

thanks

im not an expert, but sometimes it's easier to let someone say their side of the argument first, then when they 've finished begin to put your case through. Normally if you have a smaller presence you will get ignored in conversations and shouted over if you both try to speak at the same time. If their still not willing to listen, just curse them on your way out.

Also, its better to avoid confrontation with idiots, no need to stoop down to their level.

I always cry, I can't help it.

It's not that I'm weak either, I will argue back but I will most likely cry during it or straight after.. it's how I deal with things, some people get angry, others cry I guess.

You should fart next time, it helps break the ice.

if you actually read it, it does say that I have no control over it. I don't want to but for some reason my body decides to. is there any way to overcome this??
