That's not sparse compared with our poor grad students! They had to do all our normal lectures etc, and then spend all the holidays bar one week at Easter and Christmas in clinicals. I'm so glad they've changed it now, I couldn't cope with going from massive holidays to none at all

Yeah, I don't know how they cope with it! At least they don't have to do the Tripos papers. I don't think the exams would worry me so much if there were no essays.

Essays are the least of my worries - I can ******** for England (possibly reflected in my marks  )

You are becoming increasingly ironic in your helpful mode, Elles, do you realise? :p:

Are all these questions getting to you, at last? :frown:

( )

 it's YOU!!!

ok - looked them up. the timetable is fiendishly complex (read: Elles doesn't really understand!), but 2005 dates:

Year 4 (1st Clinical Year) - 38 weeks 5 days
Year 5(2nd Clinical Year) - 47 weeks 2 days
Less 10 days additional leave entitlement (45 weeks 6 days)*
Year 6 (3rd Clinical Year) - 38 weeks 1 day

& i'm definitely an essay person too, but i imagine their role shrinks after FHS. :frown:

I wouldn't say I'm not an essay person per se, it's just that timed essays are my pet hate. My essays always end up being shorter than everyone else's and I usually don't get to say everything I want to say.
