I swear History's so difficult! They (universities) should give this subject more credit!! I'm getting bloody A's in English, A* in maths, B in PHYSICS and I barely scrape a B in history after I work my ass off!! The last question was, "why Gorbachev resigned as a leader of the USSR in 1991? Iclude Economic problem, Problems in eastern europe, glasnost and peristroika and Boris Yeltsin"
Ok first of all: Economic probs? I thought they were doing good cuz of the 5 year plans...
What does glasnost and peristroika got to do with this?
And who the **** is Boris?!?

I hate history (amd love it)....it was for 15 marks

Maybe something to do with the fact that the policies of glasnost and perestroika were slowly westernising the USSR and developing a more open society, but there was pressure for more immediate change which it was felt could be brought about more successfully by someone like Yeltsin.

You should focus on the future, rather than the past.

History's good. I'm pretty good at it.

I get a similar "working my ass off and not going anywhere" feeling in English. But English sucks, I find it boring most of the time.

History is difficult you have to know so much that it isn't fair, and even when you know everything you still lose marks, i' was so sure i'd get an a at AS but i got a B but english is fun, actually it's boring me now but i do enjoy keats - what a lie - i hate him - that's it i like othello!
