Does anyone know the usual time exam results are released and when the exam resits are held? Do we find out via webCT or get an email?

It depends on your department although generally its last day of term, which is June 18th. Its advisable to see your tutor on this day and you will be informed of any resits that you need to take.
Resits themselves are in the fortnight that spans the last week of August through to the first week of September.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm assuming the university charges the student for a resit? If so, any ideas of how much?

I'm very surprised!! At least it makes failing and resitting a bit more bearable with just the train fare to pay

I'm fairly sure. Its certainly not a uni-wide policy anyway.

I think the charge is if you're international and wish to take the resits in your home country. Not that it applies to me, but I vaguely remember reading it somewhere. lol

Wouldn't have thought they'd be able to charge extra for resits anyways given that you'd expect these sort of costs to be included in the tuition fees.. Unless they informed you when paying tuition fees that you might have to pay extra in certain cases, I don't see how they can magic up extra charges for resits. So yeah, I'd go with it being a rumour or the international home country resits thing seems reasonable too.

If I need resit, do I have email from my department to let me know it ? In fact, my taught program had exam in every single months which is not following the uni sechadule so I confused. I am studing full-time MSc Geotechnical Engineering.
