International Students House

Does anyone have any experience of this place? I've applied and received an offer to stay there at Great Portland Street, but I'm having a few second thoughts. I've heard for instance that there is a club below the place, so that it can be very noisy until late, and some complaints on review sites saying the beds are poor and so forth.

The fact I could get a place on my own, with no worries about flatmates in such a central location is very tempting though. I could walk right to UCL if I stayed there, and I quite like the idea of being in a fairly international student centric environment.

Can anyone help dispel my doubts or recommend something else?

I've been offered a spot at ISH for the upcoming academic year (and will be a student at UCL as well). Did you end up taking your offer? If so, what has your experience been so far?

Stayed there for a weekend whilst doing something with Rotary. Was a nice place however didn;t see that halls spirit.

Has anyone stayed at International Students House before? It would help me a lot if you can give some reviews because im thinking of accepting my offer here for a triple room because of its location, thanks
