could you help me with my practical? i'm investigating the effects or temperature on the rate that amylase breaks down starch. im using a colorimeter. i've tried but have not succeeded in experimentig to find out which concentrations of each are most suitable so could you advise me?

Only alter the concentration of ONE variable. It will be a lot easier. If that doesn't work change one of the a lot, more than you need, just to check if it is working. It also wont be incredibly acurate if you use a colorimeter. Have you thought about a haemocytometer?
