I read somewhere on the interweb that it's natural to prefer attractive people in general, even if you don't want to sleep with them. Because people who look better are theoretically healthier, and being around healthy people is just better.
So, it's not wrong if you're trying to make friends while hunting antelopes to take back to your cave, but at school or whatever it doesn't make all that much sense. You gotta fight your instincts.
