Hehe penlid? An acquired taste no doubt.

I've eaten:

Alligator
Ostrich
Kangeroo

All in the same restaurant and in the same meal no less!

Swordfish is nice, but I find the taste a bit weak.

(Plus I have a scorpion lolly waiting to be eaten in my flat).

Great topic idea. *thumbsup*
The usual seafood stuffs... all kinds of fishes, crustaceans, molluscs, echinoderms etc
Kangaroo and it was damn tasty. Either that or the shark steak:p: both i had in walkabout
I've eaten some interesting cookies:smile:

wow cool! can I get any of this "chocolate" in the UK or will I have to go to south america to get some?
Nope mine was really nice! I think the shark was most interesting tho.
In newquay for the surf festival they chocolate fondue mountains and they would dip any food you liked in it for a fee. Wish i bought one of the fountains....

Air-dried fish with butter ( in Iceland) - a local speciality!
Shark (didn't like it), venison (well....)... I guess, I am not as adventurous as everyone else. However as a kid, I used to eat leaves, flowers, buds, pencil leads, erasers and what not...
Aw if anyone feels uncultured food wise they could always go down to that restaraunt in London that serves ant pizza and let me know what it tastes like. Pwease?
Oh, I have eaten ants

Fufu when I went to Africa.
the other week i had some kangaroo jerky, was really nice, but unfortunately its not the stranged thing i have eaten, to be honest i am quite ashamed of whast i have eaten when i went to korea many years ago.... we were eating a meal layed on for us by a family out their that work for the company my dad is a manager for, and we found out that we had eaten dog, i felt sick once i found out what i ahd eaten and it was too late, i know people are going to be disgusted at me for eating dog, but i was young and i didn't know it was og at the time... i ate a fish heart when we went fishing with some mouri's in newzealand but to be honest can't remember what any of it tastes like so i can't give a comparison to western food

Pickled herring that my brother bought back from holiday. One of my mum's friends gave us some sweet dried fish that was the most revolting thing I have ever eaten.
