hehe silly people :smile: i looooove harpsichords... my ambition in life is to buy a harpsichord lol... theyr just class.... quality sound and i loooove baroque music (not keen on the 20th C harpsichord stuff like).. in fact i just love Bach really :redface: Handel wasnt a bad guy either but he wasnt the maestro Bach was....

I know of a house in durham which has one :smile:

I love Handel's coronation anthems. They are awesome. :biggrin:
I've seen live performances of Bach's St John Passion and the St Matthew Passion as well. Awesome.

I finally have accomodation woohoo! :biggrin: (and about a ton of other info!).I have a single room in fisher house in the parsons field site...exactly what i wanted :smile: .Turns out all i needed was a bit of patience lol.Anyone else get their accomodation?Hope you all got what you wanted.Oo and does anyone happen to know whether the rooms in Parsons Field have internet access?Thankyou muchly :smile: xx

:eek: did u get ur accom thru 2day? i havnt had mine yet thats not fair :frown: i wish it would all hurry up and sort out... did they tell u if u need stuff like pillows and covers and the like? i wish mine would hurry up and come i hate waiting around not knowing :confused:

Yep i got it in the post today....maybe yours will come tomorrow, post takes different lengths of time getting to different areas, and im sure they would have sent them all out together :smile: dont worry. you can always ring them up if you havent got it by the end of this week or something. Be prepared for A LOT of other paper and forms and stuff tho! In the letter i got it said they provide bed linen, but i guess it varies according to where you are. Did you get the St Cuths booklet thing? mine came yesterday, and by the look of it we need to prepare ourselves for a lot of drunkeness lol :beer: ...and the cuths freshers ents go on for 10 days!....xx

But Im closer to Durham than you :confused: i hope mine comes soon coz im sick of not knowing... im actually looking forward to filling forms in thats how bored i am!!! lol

and im not drinking atm lol so therel b no drinking for me in freshers week... il just have to step over the unconscious drunken ppl :smile:
O yeh, and i did get the studenty book yesterday :smile:

Parsons field and bailey people move on saturday and houses people move on sunday. I think you'll get want you want aswell, most people is the past tend to pick parsons. In the pack I got there's a map showing where all the houses are and there's some at claypath and gilesgate, some more towards the science site and there's one all the way near the hospital which is miles away! So you might be lucky and get one near your department. Where is your department?

not really up there, though I've been in the music department and remember how different it was from the chem department
