How much are these items in your local corner shop?

Apparently us Londoners pay higher for everyday items than people outside of London.
I would just like to compare prices with every1 here to see if there really is a difference.

Ok, so just state how much the following items would cost in your local corner shop..and state the region you are in!

1) 330ml can of coke
2) 500ml bottle of volvic
3) standard pack of walkers crisp
4) mars bar

Near me in London, the following cost:

1) = 50p 2) = 50p 3) 35p 4) 35p

I do find these prices quite hefty esp. compared to the supermarket ones (a 1.5L bottle of volvic cost 67p!!), but are they the nationwide price?
You tell me!?

2) 500ml bottle of volvic

2) = 50p

Most places I know are much more expensive than that. Id consider that relatively cheap...

Those prices seem quite reasonable, I'd pay something very similar (give or take a couple of pence) both in Leics and in Leeds

A 500ml bottle of volvic in WHSmith is over 70p. Extortionate to say the least..

At least a 10p mix up is equal throughout the land, with the exception of Service Stations, where they sell for £2 and money is placed in to swag bags.
1) 330ml can of coke
60 p
3) standard pack of walkers crisp
45 p

i think that the rest is the same...............

I find price usually depends on how near the centre of town you are - in central London, you can pay up to £1 for a little bottle of water, and 50p (ish) for regular crisps. In Oxford the colleges are all quite central, so we get the tourist premium prices, just like central london. As you get out into London suburbs, the prices get a lot more normal for regular things (not houses etc...though!:P)

Well my local shop is the biggest Tesco in the UK if not Europe.

Can of coke 330ml = 38p last time I remember
Walkers Crisps = 28p I think
Volvic 500ml = Not a clue, never buy it

I'm from Newcastle btw!
