well London is the best city in the UK by 5312304 country miles. 5312304 really long country miles.
Too many cities try to be wannbe Londons now days, but just flop epically. Thats why I love different cities like Durham, Cambridge and Bath etc. And York for that matter.

Birmingham + Oxford + Sheffield. It does depend however what its overrated about.
Leeds. It's great as you drive in, but yeah, the city centre wasn't much.

After you've lived in London you can hardely ever live anywere else in the UK. They all feel so small and boring
it has more in it and more to do than pretty much all other UK cities put together.
the 20 biggest clubs are all in london
the biggest sports stadiums are in london
the biggest music venues are all in london
some of the biggest and best univercities
parliament, the royal frickin family.
the best transport system in the UK, and supposedly the world
the best and most expensive real estate in the UK
Oh, and 8million people to meet. Thats more than the rest of the top 10 put together.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but all of these points are because of the last one. When it has 8-10 times the population of any other city in the UK, it's expected that London will have the biggest clubs, the biggest music venues, the best transport system and the most expensive property prices (although I'm not sure why you think this is an advantage).
Biggest and most expensive does not equal best.
