What exactly is Twin Shared Ensuite accomm

I'm applying for accommodation, and I've very little choice to choose from (only two). One is really not suitable; whereas the other is:

EAST - Butler Court - Twin Shared Ensuite - Self-Catered - £3,094.49

I am planning on going self-catered; yet I wanted either "Standard" or "Single Room" (difference?!). Yet this one is Twin Shared Ensuite - does that mean an en-suite shared with one other person?

ALSO! What does it mean by morale being high in Butler Court? Does that mean it's filled with competitive, outgoing sport-freaks? :/

ensuite means bathroom.

It is a twin room, so you will be sharing with someone else.

it means you have an ensuite room but the bedroom is shared by 2 people

So that includes a shower in the bedroom? Also, would you recommend sharing with another person for the first year?

Also, as stated before (), what does the uni mean by morale being high in Butler Court?

yes theres an ensuite bathroom normally its a shower, very rarely would you have a bathtub and it depends on if you get on with the person or not! Its chance of whether you like the person thats also assigned to your room.

I wonder how they do it if say for that room, 1 male and 1 female apply. I know obviously they wouldnt be able to go through with that, but id be interested to know how they juggle it.

Well as there are a set amount of rooms for certain courses (hence the days you can all apply on differ), there are a set amount of rooms for males and females so that they only have males sharing with males and females sharing with females. If say enough females have applied, then no more will be allowed.

Oh and you don't apply for specific rooms, as in your room number won't be allocated until you move in, so a male and female wouldn't be applying for the exact same room, more the same room type.

Horny teenagers but still, I dont think it would.

LOL they could use one bed for.... and the other to sleep in

Would just like to clarify that females and males DO NOT get out in the same shared room :P

So unless two gay people get put together by luck of the draw your little fantasy ain't gonna happen!

i recently was offered a large en suite room in butler court for around £5000 does that mean i have to share and is the en suite shared or private?

Are you going to Loughborough University? Because i received the exact same offer altough it wasn't even one of my preferences. At the end I found a cheaper (not shared) room off the campus in a house. I advise you to check it out there's plenty of rooms.

Hi tomase2
A large en-suite is a room on your own. You only share if it states "twin".
