One of my potential flatmates(naming no names) dropped out cos she got a host family.

masha phoned up (again lol) this morning to say i've had a host family for a while but she forgot to tell me! apparently im in Woodingdean which is more than fine by me and just spoke to the host family and the lady sounds lovely (she even has horses like me!). if anyone is still stuck i would recommend phoning housing office or masha, my mum phoned up and shouted last night at them and today they gave me all the details for a new host family lol. im so sorry ayaan, you know i loved the house, it just made more sense to go for this host family until i can get uni accomodation.
It's okay, I can't get the house anyway, The student loans company said there's a problem with my application so I won't be able to get my loan til it's been reassessed.
I have no idea, but I'm so stressed out, I now have absolutely nothing sorted out.

And it gets even stranger. Long story short time!
Becca was offered the room in my place. She rang me to let me know. I rang Marsha, who apparently thought my ringing to say 'yes I like the place' for some reason meant 'no, i'm cancelling'. I don't think that they sound similar, but never mind...
I rang host family lady and Marsha. Marsha said she'll try and find me somewhere else, and host family lady said that if the worst happened, we could share for a little while.
Stuff got sorted, Becca is now living round the corner with another host family, moving into the room that will become available soon where I'm staying (should neither of us get somewhere on campus by that time, which is unlikely anyway).
Phew, mad evening for the both of us!
Wow, that's crazy! I don't envy you at all, but glad you now have somewhere to stay. I'll probably bump into you on the indie nights somewhere!! (I believe we are the minority!)

Cheers. The commute in is a little awkward (and annoying too because it's not too far, just there's a lack of direct bus), but it seems OK. I can cope til Christmas
And yeah, if the first night's good it looks like somewhere I'll be spending most Tuesdays...
I'd say indie is a very varied and diverse genre. I hope the club night reflects this

Haha, I don't really know...most people who don't like indie call all popular rock/alternative music indie... I'm not really into indie as such but it's just easier to call it that! I always think of indie as crap bands like Starsailor for some reason...what kind of stuff do you like?
One of my flatmates dropped out yesterday so those of you with a host family may be offered a place in Lewes Court...I heard host family students are in the first priority group.

Anyway, it'll probably be someone transferring from a shared room in East Slope getting a transfer first. I've seen it happen a few times already.
