How To Revise For History Source Paper?

Hey guys,
I was just wandering how everyone revises for History Source papers. I am doing the Cold War by the way.
My plan for revision is to go through the syllabus, but write down key facts like 'how many people died, how much spent...'

I'm doing OCR History B, i think my paper is on Britain and the war.

What i'm planning to do (we have a while for that test *sigh*) is to revise some key points in the area, i.e. dates and stuff for contextual knowledge and then look back on sources that i've done in class before to remember the messages of them and how they could link with the contextual knowledge.

I'm doing Edexcel AS History on Britain and Ireland. From what I've been told all the sources they can use in the exam are in the book (for Edexcel, at least I think so), so I will probably revise all the contextual knowledge and go through/revise as many sources as possible, hoping that I might remember a few of the sources that pop up in the exam, saving time on analysing them.
