How many people startin the course are already from London?or near?

Just wondering how many of you lot will be travelling from far and wide to Goldsmiths?
I'm from near london, wondering who's already experienced the london club scene?! It's great...

Me! I may be from Germany originally, but lived in London in 2000 and moved back in 2004.
I love London and can't imagine going anywhere else at the moment!

I'm in London but haven't been for that long so I'm not that experience with the club scene etc. Especially since as of now I don't really have anyone to go with.

London is awesome for clubbing and bar-ing :P

I love eating out in London, too.

What kind of music are you guys into? I love electro music, especially I AM X, The Faint, Felix Da Housecat, Peaches, Miss Kittin, Client, and many more :P

If you are interested, Client host a monthly club every 2nd tuesday of the month in the Notting Hill Arts Club.
Maybe we should all meet up there for some great electro.

And I am expecting to meet rizzo anyway, and everyone else from this board!

Right on! My cousin in from Brunel ad he says there is a fantastic night life in central london so we could all travel into that area as far as new cross is concerned I'm not sure

I'm into Indie and rock mainly and clubs like that around or is it just crappy hip hop?

well, london nitelife, where do i begin!!! fantastic stuff! Spesh Purple in chelsea...i've been in london the past year studying musik at city, but moving to goldsmithsthis year, got a flat in islington, so freshers is at mine guys!!

and hip hop is cool...just cuz summat is popular doesnt make it un-cool....but try Kings' college SU, Kaliedascope (cnt spell sorry!) its won awards for being the best indie nightclub in london i think.... just off the strand, so easy to find!

Ps...stay far, far away frm new cross...i know im going to uni there, but the night life is atrocious!

lol, dnt worry about it, i get all protective of hip hop LOVE IT!! indie is kule too though! if ya get stuck about places to go u cn alwasy pm me! (I did nothing last year cept go out! lol!)
